My cousin Catherine gave birth to a baby boy at 1:00 am today. By the way, she is in China.
I called her at night on March 31 when she was in hospital. Then I knew she would have a baby in few hours. The day had been 15 days earlier than prediction. I was so surprised. There is a saying about newborn baby: if the day is earlier, it will be a girl; if the day is late, it will be a boy. So everybody in my and her husband's families was worried about her.
I told my cousin do not have baby on April 1st because it is Fool's day. In the future, there is nobody will believe her son's birthday date is April 1st except our families. However, it still happened. Whenever her son was born, their health is the most important thing for us.

Congratulations to you and your cousin! You must wish you could be with her and the baby! Do you have any pictures yet? April 1 isn't really the best day to be born. One of my daughters was born on January 1. That's a better day for a birthday, I think.
