Unfortunately, there was no heat from last night in my house. Because we had never received the paper bills from Keyspan since last October, we could not pay the bills. Then last night, Keyspan stopped supporting our energy services. It is very cold to stay at home for me. The biggest reason is I hate cold. I do not want to be cold during the holiday.
This morning, a man from Keyspan came. We gave him the check, then asked him to support the energy services as soon as possible. He said there would be another man's work. Howerver, the man who can open the gas device did not come. It will be the coldest day in my house.

I'm sorry to hear that, in my uncle's house sometimes we didn't have the heat too because the oil was run out, and we didn't know it until it showed up. Moreover, it was on Sunnday, and I had to buy some gallons of oil at the gas station. :)
Jing, That's terrible! I hope that the gas company will turn on your heat tomorrow and that your holiday will be warm. Do you have anywhere else to stay if they don't turn the heat back on?
Man, Can you really use oil from a gast station in an oil furnace? You should make sure that's ok.
Man is funny guy, he always finds something to say.As Elaine says" can you use oil from gas station" I didn't know that at all. Eventhough, i used to work in Gas station, I don't think you can do that. WOW.
I hope everything is fine by now. I m sorry to hear that. It is terrible not having heat in the house. Even I like cold weather, I can't staned if there is no heat in the morning or on hollidays.
